The Museum of Oxford is located within Oxford Town Hall which looks inaccessible but it isn't! Entry from the street is to the left of the main stair case, and then you cross the lobby to the gift shop and there is a stairlift to the main exhibition area and then a more typical lift to the workshop bit where my event was.
