Excellent
The Usual Place is the most amazing space and cafe to visit. It is located in an old church in the middle of Dumfries, that they have converted into a cafe. The cafe is a social enterprise business that enables people with disabilities to work within the cafe. I always feel very safe going here. I have also started volunteering here on a Monday morning for a couple of hours. Despite the fact that it is a converted church, the way that it has been converted, makes it very accessible for anyone with a visual impairment to navigate round. It also has disabled access for wheelchair users and is mainly on one level.

Excellent
I find The Usual Place a very easy building to access and navigate my way around independently. It has very good lighting without it being too bright and straining on my eyes. The Usual Place is also very accessible to anyone, regardless of your disability. The majority of The Usual Place is on one level and easy to navigate around. There is a disable access door to get in and out of The Usual Place. The Usual Place has an amazing accessible loo for anyone to use.
Accessible facilities: Single level venue, Step-free entrance, Seating at regular intervals, Step-free access to most areas, Wheelchair-accessible food and beverage outlet

Good
I travelled to this place by personal vehicle
The car park is about a 3 minute walk away from the car park which has a couple of accessible spaces in it. There are quite good bus services running in and around Dumfries and there is a bus stop near The Usual Place.

Excellent
The Usual Place has an amazing accesssible toilet with an amazing amout of space. The only thing that can be difficult is the loo is quite close to the sink and might not give someone enough space.
