Some areas of the plant and garden accessories are a bit difficult to get around in a wheelchair as the shelves are quite close together but the centre is all on one level so most parts can be reached. The staff are fairly helpful in finding what you want or carrying things to your car. The centre also has gifts cards, glass and pottery etc which again are sometimes a bit close together. The best part is the straight run through to the coffee shop/restaurant which has a large new disabled toilet and lots of choice of seating. The menu includes cakes and coffee and a selection of sandwiches and home made dinners such as a roast dinner, meat pie, fish and chips etc.

The centre is all on one level however there are some gradual slopes and raised lumps around 1cm high where one greenhouse joins the next but it doesn't cause a big problem.

There are about 5 disabled spaces although it is a common place for the elderly to go for lunch so the disabled spaces do seem to fill up quickly. The only way to get to the garden centre is by car or taxi. There is no bus stop near by and no footpath on the road outside the garden centre.
