Barnardo's Scotland Fostering Aberdeen

Provides short break and full time foster care for children aged 0-16 including disabled children and children affected by disability. Short break (respite) care provides support for families and full time carers by providing regular breaks for them and new experiences for the children. Full time carers look after children who cannot stay at home and need a family to care for them for anything from a few days to permanently. All carers are fully assessed. Matches only proceed when the carer family, the parents and the child/young person are happy that the placement can meet their needs.
