We aim to provide the following: Planned short breaks based on individual assessed need; Opportunities for the service user to access leisure and social activities within the local community; A quality service that maximises the use of local facilities ; Opportunities for the service user to gain in life experience and to develop skills that enhance independence and personal growth.Service users have the option of attending their usual day centre whilst they are taking a short break. However, many prefer to take part in the numerous alternative activities we have on offer
