Discover the Brewery Arts Centre, Kendal. One of the leading arts centres in the UK. Presenting a year round programme of exciting, diverse, top quality events and performances, exhibitions in all artforms. Since 1972 the Brewery Arts Centre has hosted thousands of exciting and vibrant artistic events with many famous names gracing the stages of the Malt Room and Theatre performance spaces. The Brewery has also evolved to become one of the most important education centres for the arts in the North West with an extensive programme of arts based learning for youth and adult learners. The Brewery gardens are the last remaining of many which would once have flourished behind the town houses lining Highgate. The steps to the upper garden, leading to the terraced garden have recently been restored to their original grandeur. The Brewery Arts Centre is a charity.

ACCESSIBILITY We want everyone to be able to come to the Brewery to enjoy memorable experiences. Our building is very old and unique, however we have made every effort during its development to ensure all areas and activities are accessible to everyone. If you do have a disability and need support please ring Box Office to book your tickets and let them know of your requirements, we will do our utmost to make your visit to the Brewery a pleasant experience. Box Office: 01539 725133 The Building Automatic doors are in place at the main entrance and the Cinema entrance.

Toilets features at Brewery Arts Centre

Toilets which have level access and wider doors are in the following locations: Main Building, Level L2 - Outside the Theatre main entrance. Main Building, Level U2 - Outside the Malt Room (only open when Malt Room events on) Main Building, Level 3 - Outside the Vats Bar and Grainstore Restaurant. Warehouse Café, one level - General toilet. Cinema, Level 3.
