Costco Edinburgh Warehouse

Large parking spaces and easily accessible disabled spaces near the entrance/exit. There are wheelchairs available to borrow in the warehouse. Large trolleys that can be awkward to push and manoeuvre when fully loaded - but that’s to be expected. There are some dedicated tills kitted out for wheelchair users. Having ASD I found the staff helpful and patient. Aisles are nicely spaced out so you don’t feel crammed in. Toilets are basic but functional. Carpark to warehouse is all level and smooth.

My Mum and I went to Costco to get some shopping. We walked in, Mum showed her card and the man on the door said that I couldn’t come in without a Face Mask. We explained that I was exempt from wearing a face mask and so Mum then helped me to get back to the car and went shopping on her own

There are lots of blue badge spaces outside the entrance. There are wheelchairs that can be borrowed and wheelchair trolleys both of these are kept just inside the front door. The store has level access throughout with no stairs or raised areas. The aisles are wide and the flooring smooth. There is an accessible toilet which unfortunately only offered the option to transfer from one side but apart from that it is a good set up.
