Dorney Court Kitchen Garden

I knew that this is a popular cafe so had booked a roomy table in the quietest corner (all things are relative - this is not a quiet place). Good job as every other table was taken. My husband uses a power chair but decided to walk the short distance to the door nearest out table. (The car park has lots of potholes so the rating would probably have been different if he'd used the chair). The helpful staff had given us a table near a side door that they'd opened for easy access. Staff were all helpful. Cakes delicious (special shout out to the pistachio cake) and generous coffees too.

Very nice overall but in my own opinion the chairs/ could be slightly less bulky in shape and size perhaps smaller to create more walk round space. A little awkward when moving your own chair in and out to know if you knock into someone elses. Not really a space for wheelchair access either. The door step might benefit from a slope or ramp

Easy wheelchair access with no steps and ramps to café and interior shop. Outer shop a tad difficult to negotiate due aisles narrowed by clearance bins. The kitchen garden is a wonderful place and mostly accessible by chair, as is the garden centre. The café is the main draw, with good if slightly pricy food. It can get very busy. Today, for example, I waited nearly half an hour for my breakfast, and even then it was not what I ordered, but was very nice, nonetheless. My real moan is the car park, which is not tarmacked. Although there is a disabled parking area for 2 of 3 vehicles, it is not clearly defined, and almost every timd we visit, thoughtless able bodied drivers squeeze their car into the 'space' at the end of the row making car door opening/access very difficult.
