Disabled Access Information for Exmouth Library meeting rooms

disabledAccessText

Our upstairs room in Exmouth Library is not accessible for wheelchair users as we have no lift. The two downstairs rooms - one community space and one 'pod' - are wheelchair accessible. Our toilets downstairs are not accessible for people using wheelchairs. However we are planning to turn them into a disabled access toilet in the near future. The Library has a ramp for access by wheelchair users. Staff are on hand to welcome and help. Some have been trained in offering extra support to those who are neurodiverse or who have Alzheimer's. Two of our meeting rooms are accessible for people using wheelchairs but the upstairs room isn't.

The Library has its own carpark and there are three spaces suitable for disabled visitors who can park free of charge. The Union Street carpark is five minutes walk away with spaces for disabled visitors to park.
