Fife Council Community Living Scheme

Respite or day support provides an opportunity for individuals to receive an individualised person centered service from a family/carer that they have been matched to . Shared Life carers are assessed, approved and supported by a Community Living Service. The carers receive induction training and ongoing training, are Protection of Vulnerable Groups checked through Disclosure Scotland and the service is registered by the Care Inspectorate. People using the service would be involved in the family life of the carer.
