    Nice building, good (traditional) food, busy (must be seen as good), good staff

    Very impressive building Food high quality but of the calamari/smoked mackerel pate starter and casserole/catch of the day main variety rather than the hugely adventurous type. Prices very reasonable. £17.95 for 2 courses. Staff very good. Fully accessible.

    Celebrating the half-century!

    I like this venue - I've been here many times. What attracts me is the easy access, the good food (at a good price), the friendly & helpful staff and the convivial ambiance. A superb venue for an enjoyable night out!
