    Self catering cottages on elevated working sheep farm with superb views and warm hospitality. Accessible cottages sleep 2-6, warm and cosy, with parking outside each unit. Great access to the Lake District National Park and all of its amenities.

    Home from home

    Our first time in the Lake District and in the beautiful Jinney cottage. Lovely long weekend, very comfortable well thought out and also well equipped. Fantastic scenery, all the family very welcoming and most enjoyable visit. See you again in October. Many thanks

    A great place to unwind.

    We stayed in a cottage on this working farm,there are 5 cottages in all with varying degrees of equipment to help with your stay. We were in The Swallows which slept 4,there was an electric bed and a rise and recline chair also and a wet room that met you needs with a shower chair if needed.The owners Lindsay and Nic were on hand if needed but not intrusive.A great place to stay if you enjoy The Lake District.

    The cottages have been carefully designed to provide easy access and comfort for all our guests including any with disability such as wheelchair users – for further details click here. All our cottages have been furnished throughout to a high specification, and have been specifically designed to provide easy access for all guests including those with reduced mobility. All the cottages are readily accessible with parking immediately outside the front entrance and all benefit from customer-controlled central heating which allows guests to maintain a comfortable temperature at no additional cost. WiFi is now available in all cottages and is fine for checking email and the like but, being such a rural location, does not have the performance from media streaming.
