Jenn's Gym is a registered charity for people with neurological conditions and disabilities who want to improve their health and well-being in an environment specifically designed with their individual needs at its core. It is fully wheelchair accessible, has specialised and adapted equipment including a sit down cross trainer, arm and leg bikes and a standing frame. It also has a technology room featuring the latest advancements in rehabilitation.

Brilliant idea for people with disabilities

Staff were lovely and very helpful and being able to access the gym while being in a wheelchair there so much for me to be able to use I have a disability that makes going to an ordinary gym impossible so something like jens gym provides opportunities for all highly recommended .

Jen’s gym is great!

Jen’s gym is great! As a quadriplegic there is plenty of equipment suitable for me to use to get a good routine done in each session. Jen and Pamela are very welcoming and willing to help with any queries you may have. This gym has became a part of my weekly exercise routine. Thanks Jen! 🤍🙂

Disabled Access Information for Jenn's Gym

Access is through automatic sliding doors to the building and a set of double doors to the gym which are pushed to enter and pulled to leave. The floor is level throughout.

Jenn's Gym is one of a number of businesses making up the complex. There is generous unmarked parking for at least 30 vehicles and 2 designated disabled parking spaces on a first come first served basis. The disabled parking spaces are closest to the door, approximately 15m up a very gentle slope. Closer drop-off's can be carried out in a delivery area.

Toilets features at Jenn's Gym

There is an accessible toilet within the gym, on the same level, with a 1m wide door. There is a grab rail on the right hand side of the toilet, the lock is easy turn and the taps are lever style.
