Good refreshments and lovely, helpful staff
With travel restrictions easing and my grumpiness increasing, my wife though we ought to get out somewhere. Although we had previously visited the Jim Clark museum in Duns, we hadn't been to the Cafe.
The cafe has seating outside and inside it is on 2 levels. Should you require to be seated in the lower level, it is recommended to phone prior to your visit ( 01361 884517) or email them at info@jimclarkcafebistro.com to reserve a table. We did this and it worked out perfectly, There was street parking available just across from the cafe, although this can be hit or miss as with all street parking. We were warmly greeted by a member of staff and soon served up with lovely Iced coffees and scones. Although we didn't want such, there was a wide selection of meals on offer. Whilst I did not use the toilets, I have been told that the ladies one is big enough for a wheelchair to access it.
