The Lend a Hand service is part of Enable Scotland Fife Services and was set up in 1986. We have developed flexible family and community based Short Break Care to meet the needs of children and young people with disabilities across Fife. The short breaks are flexible periods of days, evening and overnight care. Short Break Care aims to offer something to both parents and children - a chance for parents to have a well earned rest from their caring role and for the children, a chance to make new friends and do something different.
