We provide assistance services to passengers travelling to and from the airport by air and have accessible parking bays with 30 mins free for Blue Badge holders. Assistance services welcome hidden disabilities as well as mobility, audio and visual impairments. We are engaging with an increasing number of organisations to increase out understanding of the challenges travelling through an airport presents.

Terminal access is 30m from accessible parking bays. Check in and arrivals is ground level with assistance services available from 0400 - 2300 daily. Prebooking assistance is recommended via your airline or travel agent to ensure resources meet the number of requests for the day and time. we have around 30 wheelchairs to assist departing and arriving passengers not travelling with their own chairs. Access through the airport and onto the aircraft is available with lifts, and ambilifts avaaible as required. Accessible toilets, telephones, low level counters are available throughout the terminal. Passenger rooms are also available on request. For those who would prefer a private search, such as ostomy bag users, private search rooms are an option.

There are accessible bays in the Express Drop off, Drop off 2, Long stay and Fast Trak onsite parking. Assistance call points are available at all locations connecting users to the assistance provider. Assistance can be provided from vehicle to aircraft and aircraft to vehicle as required. For users of the Drop off/pick up car park, Blue Badge users can benefit from 30 minutes free. For those taking Blue Badges on holiday with them, a Blue Badge replacement scheme is available. Drop kerbs and accessible routes are available in all car parks.

Toilets features at Liverpool John Lennon Airport

New refurbished land side toilets are pleasing to the eye, not clinical and we think they will appeal to users. We open refurbished toilets airside at the end of March. There are a number of accessible toilets throughout the terminal.
