Scandalous, Lifts Switched Off in Eastbourne Terrace Entrance on Sundays

Visited Paddington Railway Station to find that very disappointingly they switch off the two lifts connecting Eastbourne Terrace at street level with the station on Sundays. The lifts do not operate on Sundays when the Elizabeth Line is closed.

Buggy from train to taxi rank

Booked buggy for myself( wheelchair) and a friend with walking stick prior to journey from Oxford. Got off train buggy booking hadn't been passed on but as soon as we asked it was provided. I transferred and wheelchair stored in back taken to beginning of taxi queue. On return pressed assistance hub button at taxi rank buggy arrived within minutes took us straight to an earlier train that was leaving that we would have missed otherwise. Drivers were lovely and helpful as we're GWR staff

    Disabled access to buses

Although the access to the Underground (H&C) has improved in the last few years, bus access is still VERY difficult. While Crossrail is under construction diverted bus routes have made things worse. Roadworks change stopping points and even armed with TfL's information, distances between bus and platform can be ridiculously long. The entry area from Praed St. is none too pleasant either. It seems that the multi-billion pound Great Western upgrade will cater for crested newts but not help this situation. Clearly a case for Network Rail and TfL to get together. What must foreign tourists think?
