Disabled Access Information for Long Hazel Park

disabledAccessText

We are a very level park, so much so that Sparkford used to use us as their football pitch! At 3.5 acres, we are also quite small, so you are never very far from the toilets or the Reception. Our road is a double lane entrance, wide enough for even the biggest motorhomes and RVs. The Reception is at the entrance to the park, with ramps for access and railings to hold on to. The doorways are wide enough to fit a wheelchair. Some of our road is tarmac, the rest is compacted gravel and has been tried and tested by many wheelchair users. We are able to pitch tents both on gravel and grass, depending on which you would prefer. We have picnic tables all over the park with one particularly made for wheelchair users to sit under alongside non-wheelchair users. Please let us know if you would like this on your pitch when you book. All pitches have 16 amp electric hook-up and are available to charge mobility scooters, included in your pitch fee.

If you have a disability and would like to be parked particularly close to the shower block, please let us know on booking. The park is 3.5 acres so you are never far from the facilities. You do not need to use a blue badge on our park.
