Festival market
Although the market had two cafe's, the first cafe was too small for our group to fit into with out wheelchair users. And the second cafe was based in a conservatory area, and it was too cold on the day to stay. It would be nice in summer when the weather is warmer.
When navigating the market space, we were able to navigate the market generally well, other than some spaces in between stalls.
The entrance to the Festival Market was very accessible and there were several entrances.
The car park, situated directly outside the market had good crossing points with zebra crossings and drop down kerbs, the easy access routes also led to nearby shopping outlets.
The toilets within the market space had two disabled toilets, one that needed a radar key to open, and one where you needed to go to the market office to get a key for.
We were happy with the accessibility of the toilets, as one had a working hoist and a changing bed. The toilet had operating instructions for the hoist and an alarm system.
