    aboutSectionText

Please note the mill is not currently operational. Prices have been reduced to reflect this. See a beautifully - restored village mill in action and learn about how oatmeal, a staple of the Scottish diet, was once made. A mill was built here by the monks of nearby Sweetheart Abbey but the present building dates back to the late 1700s. 29 Mar to 30 Sept: Daily, 10am to 4.30pm (last entry 4pm) 1 Oct to 28 Mar: Fri & Sat, 10am to 4pm (last entry 3.30pm) We recommend booking in advance to guarantee entry.
