Opened in 1977, Newham City Farm is one of London’s longest established and largest city farms. We are home to an extensive range of farmyard favorites and rare breeds – we have everything from a huge Shire Horse to tiny birds as well as cows, sheep, alpacas, goats, chickens, rabbits, fish, ferrets and even a harris hawk. The farm is fully accessible for all visitors, it’s free to visit the farm and we are open every day except Monday all year round – we run special events throughout the year and are able to accommodate group visits at a small cost.

Disabled Access Information for Newham City Farm

There are ramps in place where necessary and the majority of the farm is on the flat. The paths and gates are wide enough for wheelchair access throughout.

There are two disabled parking bays at the top of the farm which is on street parking plus a small car park at the bottom entrance to the farm within King George V park.
