good but could be even better

The Castle has opened up the first part of the new sections including the cafe, shop and entrance desk, all smart and accessible. A staff member stands at the door to give information and advice.

Superb access to a fine art gallery and museum

Fully accessible museum and castle, with exception, not surprisingly, of battlements, however ther is an AV tour of these. The Art Gallery is excellent, with a fine collection especially of the Norwich School. The museum is excellent with dioramas of the natural history of the area, and sections devoted to Boudica and the Romans.
