Paisley St James Railway Station

I visited the station specifically for this review. The station is functional but not suitable for those who may struggle with steps or wheelchair users who are unable to walk. The station is 160 metres from St Mirren FC’s home turf, the SMISA Stadium, this is its most notable feature. The proximity of the two has seen a campaign to rename the station St James rather than St Mirren gather steam. If pressure from the public can result in a boat being named Boaty McBoatface, this campaign stands a chance.
