Affordable, Wheelchair and autism friendly holiday park
We stayed in the wheelchair friendly caravan on site. Others have noted that it’s a long way from the sea and pools, but these are in fact only 6 or so minutes walking on a flat surface. It is also possible to drive down to the main centre.
Staff were outstandingly autism friendly with little explanation needed for adaptions to be made. They took time to understand difficult speech and different ways of communicating with our developmentally delayed child.
There was a portable hoist in the caravan and at the pool (bring your own sling for the caravan hoist). Caravan had wide access for a wheelchair. There were disabled toilets available. There is no changing place but the caravans are nearby.
We had a fab time, thank you park dean!
