Lovely 2 nights stay whilst attending a family wedding
Looked at wheelchair accessible accommodation not too far from the Yorkshire Wolds, and came across a Marston's Inn hotel ion the outskirts of Whitby called the Penny Hedge. parking is free to hotel guests.
The room (14) has a wet room with plenty of room for my powerchair to manoeuvre, and the bedroom area had plenty of room and enough electrical sockets to charge both our phones and my wheelchair. I am unable to comment on the comfort of the bed as my spine is so damaged that I have difficulty in any beds.
The carpets were rutting up a little, as most carpets do so it would be a little more effort for manual chairs.
The food was as expected from pub chains and decent choice and tasty.
The staff were very helpful and friendly throughout our stay, and are likely to visit again if in the area.
