We provided books, information, use of public computers, printing and photocopying facilities. A weekly Baby Bounce & Rhyme session and a monthly library club for housebound members of the community. A large print book section along with audio books. Library members have access to e books, Books on Prescription and free access to Ancestry UK. We are a local family history centre. We are a facilitator for the Growth Hub for those wishing to set up a business and also to expand their business. Comfortable seating area for reading. As a Visitor Information Centre we provide information on local attractions, what's going on in the area together with items for sale such as maps, gifts, bags, cards together with an "on the day accommodation booking service"

There is a ramp and a rail to the right hand side of the library entrance, at the door a push button buzzer alerts library staff that someone wishes to enter and they are buzzed through. Once in there is a disabled platform lift which needs the button to be continuously pushed to reach the library lobby area. There are automatic double doors for easy access.
