Tariff and Dale is a bar and restaurant in Manchester's fashionable Northern Quarter. The building is steeped in history, having been a Cotton Spinners back in 1858 and amongst other things bombed during WW2. The space has been sympathetically and beautifully restored with features like the original fabric press and lift shafts still standing proudly in place. The spacious ground floor bar serves high quality drinks of all descriptions. It’s aim is to provide a little luxury in a democratic environment. Excellent drinks, served in a beautiful, original place. Downstairs, the basement restaurant serves a straightforward tribute to good food! Expert cooking is combined with a deep appreciation of the best local produce for the chefs specials but there's also fabulous sour dough pizza served all day and night, a cracking brunch, salads and the areas only sausage roll menu.

Entrance to the restaurant is directly from the street (no steps), there is then a wheelchair lift to the bar entrance, as there are a few steps up to the bar when inside. There is also a fold down ramp if preferred. Access is good when inside as the bar is quite spacious and we have large booths for dining. Unfortunately, there isn't wheelchair accessibility to the restaurant in the basement. However, the full menu can be served upstairs in the bar. If customers using wheelchairs are dining they can reserve a table in the bar by calling in advance. Staff very accommodating.
