Disabled Access Information for Teignmouth Library meeting rooms

disabledAccessText

The ground floor at Teignmouth Library is fully accessible. The small office (fully accessible) and private offices are on this floor, along with an accessible toilet. The lower ground floor, where the hot desks and kitchen are, is down a steep flight of stairs. Staff are on hand during office hours to help open the door to the hotdesking spaces to assist wheelchair users, as it opens from the inside. Please also note the route from the hot-desk room to the kitchen is quite narrow with heavy fire doors and unlikely to be manoeuvrable for a wheelchair user.
