Tiny venue, tiny lift and intimate space

Be prepared to visit the tallest, darkest tower like a Disney princess. As we arrived at the venue we were immediately told that the main lift was out of order and we were escorted around the back of the building to a service elevator from decades ago. There was barely enough room for my chair but I made it work. My poor wife had to climb 4 flights of stairs though. Once I arrived at the floor, I had to wait in a tiny lift for the staff member to come and open the door. If you are claustrophobic, I wouldn’t recommend it! The venue itself was intimate and I was ushered Nan first then they started letting others in. Then I was told I was going to have to go out to let others in but I already had a queue behind me. The only other option was for people to climb over me. The same thing happened when it was time to leave. We found out that they are due a massive renovation in October so I don’t think that they will fix the lift before that.

    Garden Bar at the Festival

Chaotic service amid many access issues, lack of mask wearing, couldn't really see any sanitising stations, but there was table service (if they could actually deliver drinks to the correct table). Mostly a complete lack of access everywhere at Teviot.

A Great Victorian building, but not very accessible.

I was there for an event that includes all abilities and disabilities and I saw some folk in wheelchairs having difficulty with narrow doorways. Other commenters have mentioned access to the toilets and the bar, I would agree with their comments.
