    The Bat and Ball Inn

    aboutSectionText

This is a good country pub alongside the busy A338 between Fordingbridge and Downton. There is a single double room for overnight stays Good pub grub at reasonable prices in an 'olde worlde' environment with a nice log fire on winter days. There is also a garden.

    disabledAccessText

The side entrance for the car park is JUST wide enough for a large man to pass in his wheelchair, though assistance might be needed for some. This entrance has a short steep section. The front entrance is wider. Best to phone the pub on arrival to seek help.

The car park is behind the pub, with additional parking across the road when full. Wheel chair access is via a narrow passage in the side of the building, with an additional entrance at the front
