Disabled Traveller at The BRASENOSE ARMS
This 17th century country inn situated in Cropredy, Oxfordshire, is a very pleasant attractive modernised village inn.
It seems to have been three cottages before being converted into a public house, built on land that had belonged to BRASENOSE college, and is the only pub in the country with this sort of name. The name may have referred to a brass door knocker shaped like a nose.
The village of Cropredy has been known for its music, and the inn continues that theme with music nights staged now and again.
When passing through on your journey that includes Cropredy, we certainly recommend a visit here to this very pleasant country Inn, although unfortunately it is not really disabled friendly, with steps here and there, but if you can manage without a wheelchair, and can cope with a walking stick, then you will enjoy a pleasant drink or a light lunch with the team here at the BRASENOSE.
Our recommendation would be to enjoy their delicious home made cheesecake, probably the best ever tasted. (See photo 10).
