Ample parking in front and to the rear
Ample parking in front and to the rear, with a ramp up to the door (which could be an obstacle as it is heavy, as is the one into the bar/restaurant) Th staff are very helpful (moving tables etc) Menu is varied but unspectacular (however do look at the specials board!), portions vary too. Prices are decent (I paid £16 for two courses plus a drink) and the service was swift.
The ambiance was convivial (the place filled up as time wore on), I approved of the eighties music (but others may not!) and the views (of the fields with the Pentland Hills in the background) was very aesthetic.
For car drivers or those who can get a lift, I would recommend The Leadburn.
