The Mackinnon Centre is a purpose-built 12-bed respite unit, set in its own grounds, close to Broughty Ferry beach.The Centre is 5 minutes from a wide variety of shops, pubs and restaurants, while sports facilities, theatres and shopping centres are all within easy reach in Dundee.Although the staff do not provide nursing care, they are highly trained and have experience in providing a service tailored to the needs of each person who stays here. Personal choice and dignity form the basis of care plans. Activities include meals out, sight seeing, sports, social activities, theatre and cinema.
