Complicated Access - changed from previous reviews
Please note that the restaurant has moved from upper floors accessed by the Flannels lift and is now in the basement.
Initial access is tricky as it has a gradient - stay left for the most simple option. Once through the door there is a small area above a flight of stairs down (approx 10 stairs). There is no lift.
For wheelchair users they have a system that connects to a wheelchair that can get you downstairs. It takes a few minutes to safely connect you (and my chair wouldn’t fit so I had to transfer to their chair) and then you are tilted back before the conveyor belt assists your down the stairs. I was glad I wasn’t wearing a dress, although the waiter got a view straight down my jumpsuit - poor man!
This was pretty undignified, but it meant I could access the restaurant.
Once down the restaurant was well laid out, tables at a good height for my standard chair and the accessible bathroom was pretty large.
