The 16-year-old leisure scheme houses a state-of-the-art IMAX cinema, fully equipped gym and health club, complete with a 20m swimming pool, and 16 bars and restaurants. From 6am until 3am, the scheme is alive with activity. Visitors can take a swim before work, pop in for lunch, watch the latest blockbuster or meet friends for a drink after work. Thanks to the newly opened Exchange Square Metrolink stop and the recently renovated Manchester Victoria station visitors can be at the scheme in minutes. The Printworks has an excellent choice of bars, cafes and restaurants offering everything from light bites to three course meals, noodles to burgers, European cuisine or something from the deep south. Recent additions to the scheme include eateries, Walkabout, Busaba Eathai, family favourite Frankie & Benny's and a new concept Yates. The bars all show the latest live sport from football to motor racing to boxing. Not only does The Printworks have a great offering for food and drink but it also has a stellar events calendar. Here at The Printworks, disabled access for our customers is very important to us. We constantly strive to make your leisure experience with us a happy, effortless and enjoyable one. The Printworks is situated within a pedestrian area in the City centre close to a number of public transport links. There are three entrances to The Printworks all with a colourful map, detailing the layout of the scheme, signposted just inside the entrance. Should you require further assistance please get the attention of one of our highly visible uniformed security officers. The three entrances have open access and are not restricted by doors. The entrance from Corporation Street has a moderate level ramp to access the scheme. The floor surface within the complex is mainly brick paving and may be slightly uneven from the cobbles. The surfaces are from an easy to moderate gradient however are all suitable for wheelchair. Please note that there is a small section within the scheme that are old railway lines. The lighting levels within the scheme vary and music is played throughout the scheme. There is no seating in the scheme however all of the venues within the complex do have seating and are wheelchair-friendly. All restuarants and bars, cinema and healthclub have disabled access.
