Union Chapel

The Union Chapel is a music venue and working church, housed in a Victorian gothic building. There is step free access on the ground floor and an accessible toilet. Staff are super helpful, very friendly and extremely thoughtful. I went to see An Intimate Evening with Martin Fry and he was wonderful. Fabulous show, This was my first time going to a concert on my own since I became disabled 8 years ago, I will be honest I was a bit nervous but access is extremely well organised and as soon as I was seated I could just relax and enjoy it. It's a small music venue in a unique setting and I would highly recommend it both for accessibility and sheer delight. Music venue and working church housed in a Victorian, gothic church. A very unique and beautiful venue. Step free ground floor access to stall and accessible toilet. There is a 1st floor bar and café, which their website says maybe difficult for some disabled people but they are able to make alternative arrangements if requested. They run the Margins Project to support homeless people, who manage the café.

This is a well run chapel and music venue. There are numerous staff willing to get a ramp out sp I can get in. The staff will reserve you a good seat once you've notified them of your booking. It's a beautiful venue. Everything's sounds great. There is enough room for me to get around which is surprising given its an intimate, small place. Some wheelchair users may struggle getting into the toilets. Parking neither hard nor easy - you are reliant on luck but if you leave enough time you should be fine. Also, it must be possible to get there via public transport as Islington is a busy place.
