Williams and Johnson Coffee Co.

We went to Williams and Johnson to see whether the coffee is good, but also because we were attracted by the minimalist design of the interior. What's really unusual about this fantastic little spot is that it's located in the middle of the most chaotic, crazy area of Edinburgh — by the Waverley station and the infamous and less-than-inspiring Waverley Mall. I am pleased to say that the coffee was absolutely excellent, and served gluten-free brownies second to none. Not requiring disabled access myself, I am nevertheless still on a lookout for features that might be needed by others. To my eye, the cafe looks very accessible; there's plenty of space, a large door that could easily accommodate a powerchair and a ramp to get there from the Princes street level.
