Witley Court
English Heritage run site comprise of parkland extensive gardens and lake with the most fantastic example of a 19th century palatial country Manor House, be it the ruins , sadly.
Ok Staff were absolutely wonderful, helpful and informative. They were very good about making sure we knew the best way to go with the wheelchair and which way to avoid.
The ruins themselves I could not access as it was steps but it was not a problem I could see everything from every angle . The gardens and fountains were impressive and we spent around 3 hours in total there taking photos and just enjoying the tranquility and scenery. There is a tea shop which I never got round to visiting but that is for my next trip ??
