Our Community Meeting room is perfect for workshops, meetings, rehearsals, interviews and so much more. The Meeting Room is fully wheelchair accessible. The path from the main entrance on Ashley St has three steps, but there is a side entrance (gate) reached via the Lane that is ramped and fully accessible. If you require disabled access we recommend getting in touch with us in advance so that we can make sure that the event organiser knows to open up the side entrance. The inside of the building is all on one level and has a wheelchair accessible toilet. n 2016 Glasgow City Council granted Woodlands Community a long-term lease on the derelict gap site on the corner of Ashley St and West Princes St. The site had lain empty since the mid 1990s after the last building was demolished due to mining subsidence. In 2016-17 we undertook major building works to bring the site back into community use and our new Community Meeting Room opened its doors to the public in October 2017. The lower level of the site now hosts our temporary office while we fundraise to complete the second phase of the project.
