The hostel is only two miles from Shakespeare’s birthplace with easy access to historic Stratford-upon-Avon. See performances by the world renowned Royal Shakespeare Company or visit nearby Warwick Castle, one of England’s finest Medieval castles, then relax in our newly renovated café/bar and grab a bite to eat.

From the car park there is step-free access to the entrance via a permanent ramp (gradient 1:11 for 1.6 metres). Our public facilities, such as lounge, dining room, cafe bar and self-catering kitchen, are all on the ground floor and have step-free access; however, please be aware that most doors need to be opened manually. Also on the ground floor is our accessible bedroom with accessible en-suite; includes grab rails, a WC (transfer to WC left-handed), roll in shower and fold down shower chair.

We have ample on site parking less than 150 metres from the main entrance. The car park is level and surfaced with gravel. There are no marked bays but we would be happy to reserve a space for you if required. If access over gravel is difficult, guests can also be dropped off just next to the level, paved path which leads to the main entrance.

Toilets features at YHA Stratford-upon-Avon

We have a unisex, accessible WC on the ground floor. It is located in the restaurant/dining area. The WC is fitted with grab rails, lowered sink with lever taps, and an emergency cord. Transfer onto the toilet is right-handed.
