Step free easy access to all levels. Really important that the cafe was first on our tour along with the disabled access toilet, which were outstanding. The toilet has a hoist, fold down bed and adjustable height sink. It is also hands free for door opening and locking. All flours had level access throughout via 3 lifts with amazing views over the Tyne. Even the viewing platform on the top floor was fully accessible. Staff were in hand on each floor for help or questions. The venue also has wheelchairs and mobility scooters which can be used for your visit.

This is the place to go when in Newcastle. The whole place is pretty much accessible, the only annoying thing that the front entrance, with the shop, has a series of steps up to the access to the lift that take you to the galleries. The Accessible route is a long path way round the ride with a long path which can not be shortcuted.

Interesting venue displaying contemporary art. Brilliant viewing from high floors, wheelchair accessible. Staff friendly and helpful. Restaurant on top floor not visited due to time restraints. The approach from the city centre is very steep in places so hard work for somebody pushing you!
