Côte Brasserie

For my birthday, my husband took me to Cote restaurant. Following throat cancer, he is unable to eat much solid food. The restaurant was quite happy for him to order a dessert (chocolate mousse) for his main. I am intolerant to cows milk products, and the waitress advised me well on what was ok, and gave good suggestions for substitutes. I am in a wheelchair, and it was easy to get in and move around. A chair was speedily removed from our table so I could stay in the wheelchair. Food was very good. I had a sauteed scallop starter. Main - confit of pork belly with savoy cabbage, side of green beans with almonds as a substitute for the gratin dauphinois. Visited here for 50th birthday meal. I brought a booster cushion with me, we had requested a seat against the wall, I’m deaf as well as having mobility issues but I couldn’t have a wall behind me as the table was fixed to the floor and it was extremely tight. A preparation area was right behind us and it was very noisy meaning I couldn’t hear other people none of us are BSL users, I had some issues getting out of the seat but a male member of staff helped.
