Euston Station

Euston Station was a bit of an experience. This super-busy station has plenty of accessibility features and has some of the nicest staff I've encountered. With a direct train from Glasgow, I can't think of a better London gateway.

No drop off point for cars. Car park closed. Ladies toilets overwhelmed so they were using disabled toilets. Main concourse is flat but all other areas are full of hazards. Of course you can get assistance but that is only because so much of this station is inaccessible to the disabled. Millions wasted on HS2 when the existing station is not fit for purpose. I am not disabled but many of my family are.

I've travelled to Euston Station regularly. The overall accessibility is good - with lifts, escalators, level entry, and accessible toilets - all on site. Where it lets itself down is with its assistance staff - they either don't turn up, turn up too early, or take you to the wrong train. That's what lets the station down.
