Ferrie house is a specially adapted building offering respite/short breaks to adults with learning disabilities in North Lanarkshire. This project is part of The Mungo Foundation and offers a short stay service to adults (16–65 years) The project is located in the village of Gartcosh and is funded by North Lanarkshire Council.The house can support up to four people at any onetime and is fully equipped with facilities for physically disabled people.A short break service offers between 3 and 14 consecutive nightsat any one time. Although in special circumstances this can be extended.
