    Definitely a challenging day out.

Staff were very helpful, and booking the ride access pass and carer ticket was pretty simple. The site has steep slopes and are very crowded, it was difficult to navigate in a wheelchair. Most of the rides have a shared disabled access and "pay to skip the queue" line so you may have to wait 25 minutes in a queue on top of the virtual queuing. Most of the rides are very challenging to get into if you have poor mobility, and require transfering to a very low level over the side of the car. The radar key toilets are clean but you may have to wait a while for them. I had a good time but I struggled a lot.

    Legoland Windsor

I have been going to legoland since 2012 and since covid they changed the way you get help. I used to get a wristband to show I am in need of extra help. You now need a card and to use the app. Which confused me and stressed me out. Also legoland is set over a large hill. So good points it has a train that has a ramp to get on and a good sensory room but some staff are very rude if your a disabled adult.

    Difficult Day

Disappointing, painful and exhausting day at Legoland. As a disabled mother, I hired a wheelchair from Legoland guest services so that i could enjoy the day with my daughter. Sadly i soon realised that I could in no way use a self propelled wheelchair on my own due to the steep hills and narrow pathways on the resort. It would however have been ok if I had anither adult with me but it would have been nice to do this on my own. I had to return my chair and therefore could only stay on the resort for 1 hour which only gave my daughter the chance to have 1 ride and see a couple of things. Very disappointing as a disabled parent that I couldn’t use a wheelchair or mobility scooter on my own. The disabled toilets were always in use and only 1 per toilet location. No changing places and most importantly no queue pass for rides for people with mobility issues which is a real shame as queing without a wheelchair was impossible for me. Really disappointed at Legoland’s lack of knowledge and range around accessibility. They should learn from Flamingoland which is excellent. Would not go back to Legoland.

Disabled Access Information for LEGOLAND Windsor Resort

The pathways are suitable for wheelchairs, however they can be steep in sections and guests may require additional assistance. An alternative route to the steep pathways on entry and exit is to take the Hill Train. If the Hill Train is not operational, please speak to a member of the Attractions team or visit Guest Services in The Beginning or First Aid in Heartlake City for assistance. Our Ride Access Pass is one of a number of adjustments we are able to make to assist guests with additional needs throughout their visit. Our Ride Access Pass is designed to make reasonable adjustments to assist guests who do not understand the concept of queuing, have a physical disability that prevents them standing for extended periods of time or permanently non-ambulant guests. The Ride Access Pass removes the need for our guests to wait within the main ride queue lines. It allows guests to select their next ride from anywhere in the resort, meaning they can explore the resort whilst waiting for their chosen attraction. We also have a Total Sensory Space - This is the first dedicated sensory facility of its kind in a theme park, providing a calming environment for guests with additional needs who require a quiet moment away from the excitement of the Resort’s 55 rides, live shows, and attractions. Discover an open space full of interactive sensory experiences, with vibrating bean bags, soft seating, interactive projections, bubble tubes, infinity tunnels, tactile panels, and soft lighting, all designed to create a calm space to relax in for those who need it. The UV room allows guests to discover brighter colours, fibre optics, and UV mats, whilst the main space includes musical sound pads, activity panels to manipulate, and an interactive carpet, all part of the overall sensory experience on offer. The space was designed and created by Total Sensory, market leaders in providing calming sensory rooms. The calming environment was created with guests’ needs in mind, giving them a place to relax. Total Sensory provide sensory space projects across a range of sectors, including schools, care homes, hospices, and now for the very first time in a theme park at the LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort.
