    Spacious but not excellent

The access into the building is level and staff were helpful getting in. The issue however is the actual "disabled seating"... There isn't any signs on where to go. No staff came to direct even when looking lost. The actual disabled ramp was blocked off so we sat waiting till someone came to move it. View is fine but the actual ramp is homemade and there isn't a safe amount of a turning circle. So even if you are first on disabled seating and need to go to toilet... all other people have to go out from seating to let you out as there is only one access point. The cafe isn't disabled friendly as all seats and tables bolted to floor and can't be moved. This can be hard especially to try get through . A shame as huge potential

    crazy skating

Special session for wheelchairs. The music was pumped up! Wasn't too busy. We liked going fast! This is the only time wheelchairs are allowed on the rink, while Kirkcaldy ice arena is open all the time.

Fun (& retro!) family day out!

There is level access at the front door right through to the ice rink. Easy to get to and easy to watch my pal's son skating on the ice!

Here at Murrayfield Ice Arena we are commited to making the facility as accessible and safe as possible. We want to make sure everyone is able to enjoy what the Ice Arena has to offer. The building is wheelchair accessible with everything you need located on the ground floor. During our inclusive sessions on a Tuesday morning, it is possible to go on the ice with a wheelchair as we have custom made ramps to enter and exit the ice pad. We have a disabled toilet on the ground floor. Parking is free right outside the building. Stewards are available to offer assistance during these sessions.
