The museum is one gallery that is split into four main themes, packed with tales of action, feats of heroism, and stories of how firefighting is constantly evolving to improve its service to the public. Throughout the museum there are a range of digital interactives to delve deeper into the topics and activities for families including dressing up for children.

    There is level access from the main entrance to: Reception Unisex Accessible Toilet The Shop Visual Glass doors and full-height windows have contrast markings. The walls and the doors have high colour contrast. Some parts of the venue have low lighting. The menu is in large print. We have information in audio and large print.

    Unisex Accessible Toilet There is a public toilet for disabled visitors. From the main entrance to the public toilet, there is level access. The toilet door is 900mm wide. There is 1700mm in front of the toilet. The toilet seat is 500mm high. There are horizontal grab rails located to the left of the toilet, vertical rails to the right and a drop-down assistance bar to the right. There are baby changing facilities within this toilet. There are 4 other public toilets on the –1 floor
