A new heart for east London, Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park is the city's newest park. It will be a new home to thousands and a new destination for millions. The Park is now open for the public to visit and is already coming alive as visitors explore its unique parklands, waterways, venues and attractions. The north of the Park and the Copper Box Arena opened in 2013 with a series of incredible festivals and concerts, and the south of the Park, including three iconic venues and the ArcelorMittal Orbit, opened in April 2014.

Great accessible venue - Stadium and Park

The Stadium has great access and the wheelchair seats have a superb view of the field and track. Loos are clearly marked and well equipped. The Park is beautiful and has lovely smooth paths, with lots of seating at regular intervals.

We've worked hard to ensure that Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park really is a park for all. The Park has been designed to be as accessible and inclusive as possible for a wide range of visitors, employees and future residents. We think that our park might be the most accessible in the UK. This means that the Park offers good step-free access, hard-standing surfaces, regular seating and accessible Blue Badge car parking for each of the venues. The venues themselves have been designed to offer high levels of accessibility with facilities provided across the Park.

There are Changing Places facilities at the Podium Cafe and Timberlodge cafe as well as the London Aquatics Centre, Copper Box Arena, Lee Valley VeloPark and Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre. These facilities are for users/visitors at the venue.
