    The Caley Sample Room is a gastro style student friendly pub in the Gorgie area of Edinburgh. A selection of up to 8 real ales on at any time as well as 12 other taps, there is a fantastic back bar with a superb range of malts, rums, gins and a great wine list. The venue is across one floor only and has a larger accessible toilet. Hosting regular quiz nights, showing live sport, live music, catering to groups and events, family and dog friendly!

    Accessible gastro pub on city centre bus route

    I visited the Caley Sample room for afternoon drinks and felt very welcomed. The venue would be great for drinks, lunch or dinner, and to watch sports games.

    Good access, awful toilets!

    The reason for my low rating is that although the bar and restaurant are very accessible, the complete lack of a wheelchair friendly toilet makes it a no go. Who wants to have a couple of beers and not have the ability to go to the bathroom?? Made even more infuriating by there being 2 men's toilets. Why hasn't one of these been made into a disabled toilets?
